The Dirty Dreamers
The Dirty Dreamers Bio:

The Dirty Dreamers have been together about 1 year 4 months. The band first started when Baz decided to start a band with a fresh sound and a new image. He advertised for band members and the band started jamming and created a sound that they all loved.

The band then started playing live, and played at music venues across Hulls local music scene. The band then decided to play out of town gigs. Since then the band have played at Alan McGees Death Disco in Notting Hill, London. They have also played numerous gigs around London such as Dublin Castle, Nambucca. They have also supported local band The Paddingtons on their single launch at Waterats in London. The band has also supported the likes of The Cribs & The Black Velvets.

The Dirty Dreamers have built up a very dedicated fan base in Hull, attracting very good crowds wherever they play in their hometown. This is starting to expand to other towns and cities.

The sound the band creates is best described as fast paced Rock & Roll with a fresh modern vibe.

The band has also had some national airplay. The new demo
Overload has been played on Radio 1. After passing the demo to Alan McGee, he played the track on his radio show.

The band has just been into Fairview studios, to record the new demo. They also have a new music video in the pipeline and also a new website.

The band now aim to secure a Management or Record deal.

Quotes

They have the right tunes and they don't pretend to be anything other than a rollicking good-time band. And they look the part as well, they look like the sorta guys who make the kind of music they're making, and from seeing them around I know they walk it like they talk it.

The sound is totally polished and the performance is confident and seamless.

They open with Disease and Overload. The Gibsons and Marshalls are cranked up to ear splitting volume and the chunky riffs lead to an all-out assault from the rest of the band. They just fuckin' nail the crowd to the wall.

When You Decide is played, it's like I'm witnessing the greatest band that never happened, Jimi on guitar, Iggy on vocals - it really is that fuckin' good. The women at the front of the stage are losing their minds to this shit. I feel like running home and chucking a TV out of my window.

The band looks the part as well. Ash screams out from behind his shades at the baying crowd, and the band stalk about the tiny stage, surrounded by screaming women. No gimmicks or bullshit - just good fuckin' tunes, delivered in the only way that's right.

People are peeling themselves off the wall when the Dreamers leave the stage. The applause is massive, but no one can hear it because everyone's eardrums are burst. Now this is what I'm talking about. I've been waiting for a band like this, music to blow the fuckin' cobwebs from my brain in a morning, and this is it. Jeezus, if I had tits and a fanny (and hair), I'd be a groupie.

In a few months Baz and co will have lines and lines of people following them wherever they go. These guys - all of them - are Bona Fide rock stars. Who needs the rest of the country when this shit's happening right on your doorstep?
