StymuluS Bio:
StymuluS is a 4 piece band from Oxford Pennsylvania. The band formally known as Rad Hazard has taken on some band member changes, and has now finally found the right members to complete Stymulus. Stymulus was founded by Steve (Lead Guitar) and Nick (drums) in early 2004. In the early years, Nick and Steve both started out on the drums at age 3 being influenced by their Father. Nick picked up on how to play the drums very well and they came naturally to him. Where as on the other hand...they weren't going well for Steve. Over time Steve got frustrated and found out that drums just wasn't his thing and became unhappy with his drum playing. So he quit while Nick was progressing. So eventually Steve tried guitar at age 6 and everything came with ease. Steve's influence is Edward Van Halen, and Paul Gilbert. Nicks influences are Neil Pert, Matt Mc Donough. Nick and Steve have been playing 11 years together. Mark (bassist) joined the band right before their 3rd real gig in May of 2004. Mark's influences are bassists such as Ryan Martinie, Les Claypool, and many others. Mark has been playing the bass for over 2 1/2 years now. He has played with the band for almost 1 1/2 years. Our 4th member Dennis Bird, our vocalist, has now joined the band and StymuluS will soon be playing gigs all around the surrounding area. The band has played in various areas in the Chester County, Pennsylvania and Newark, Delaware areas. With an E.P. coming soon, StymuluS cant wait to release it and start playing more gigs.
