R-JET Bio: In 2004, after a year of writing songs, R-JET went into the studio ready to record a new CD. As the project progressed it was truly evident that R-JET’s sound was beginning to form into something quite original. The members of R-JET focused on making music that was different and alive and with the help of their creative Producer/Engineer Merritt Partridge their sound started to solidify. All you have to do is look at the band’s name to get a hint of what makes R-JET so different and new. “It’s about building a solid foundation” These guys build a strong foundation with their energetic and creative rhythm section and then blend in a melodic and lyrical style that comes alive and evokes strong feeling. Rowland Boksleitner on drums and John Farmer on bass lay an unusually strong foundation to this band's sound. Tobin Logan’s creative and melodic guitar technique, prog like in nature, links these almost hypnotic rhythmic sounds to the smooth lyrical and melodic vocal style of Edward Nicholson. The resultant sound is very different, new and alive, some of their lyrics are straightforward but most are quite abstract, leaving the listener the ability to develop their own impressions. R-JET’s sound is new and worth a listen. Check out their new album “Done Caught You Up”. http://www.soundclick.com/rjet You’ll be glad you did! R-JET is: Rowland Boksleitner- Drums & Vocals, John Farmer– Bass & Vocals, Edward Nicholson- Vocals & Guitar, Tobin Logan- Guitar & Vocals |
