PARADOX 2WX Bio:
PARADOX is an indie Hip-Hop artist from NY currently located in Tampa, his music has charted to #1 on mp3.com's top 40 and also soundclick.com. Performances include opening for Pharcyde, The 1999 Hip-Hop anniversary in NY (in honor of Hip-Hop's pioneers, Afrika Bambaataa, Kool Herc and Grand master Flash), and a fundraiser for Tampa Hip-Hop pioneer, DJ Kenny K (rip). Paradox was featured on BET's Spotlight and Nominated by Jam magazines performer of the year, album cover artist for Heet magazine Nov. 2001, featured in Music Connection magazine in LA, St. Pete times, Gods Of Music, and Manhunt. Also scoring licensing deals with the likes of Garnier Frutis 2004. With several offers pending on his material and an aids benefit showcase this June for Change For Hope 2003 also performed Sept, 18th 2002 at opening night in New York's Madison Square Garden indie film festival and Sept 21rst at The China Club, Paradox has been on Wicked 4 eva Compilation, The Hell Ryders compilation, "Knuckle up" The Menacide album, as well as been put on several local mix CDs, has done drops for deejays such as Tony Montana for 88.5wmnf Tampa's only underground station where his music is constantly being requested, Including "If A. Bullet Could Sing" which has became a favorite among mix tape deejays a song from his next album. Paradox has also filmed a video called "The Messenger". Residing in a geographic location where the "dirty south style is the norm Paradox gives Tampa something new to listen to. he's scored several online distribution deals single handedly as well as scored a deal with BCD distribution who carry his product retail in stores such as FYE and Tower. Paradox is now Promoting his album "Dark Reign" while working on "HOW I LIVED" The prequel album which will give listeners and fans of 2wx the chance to hear music based on what turned him towards The Darkside" it will not be the Paradox you think you know. |
