Mark Holt and Kimberlee Holt Tully Bio:

Mark Holt and Kimberlee Holt Tully's music has a 1970's retro acoustic classic country and bluegrass sound with an edgey 2005 kick. Joe Chernicoff from CowboyArtShow.com in Las Vegas describes them as a “little bit of old time, mixed with mountain music...working together to make you believe you’re really in the west...just like it used to be!”

Mark Holt and Kimberlee Holt Tully appear in the July/August 2004 issue of American Cowboy one of the largest western lifestyle magazines in the world. The article discusses western music’s comeback as a popular sub-genre of country music. Holt tells American Cowboy that “[western music’s] roots are in somebody getting a guitar and singing around a campfire or on a front porch, and just playing music…”

This brother and sister team recently released their debut album, Acoustically Native, which was produced by Bil VornDick, who has also worked with Alison Krauss. While a majority of the songs are covers of country greats, Mark Holt does show off his songwriting skills on four of the tracks…Kimberlee Holt Tully even pitches in on one. Their current single, Midnight Rider, a cover of the Gregg Allman song, hit number 1 on Audio Street in February of 2005.

Dianna Watson "Kiwi Kate" from "Hot Off the Press" radio show in New Zealand says “This is the most fantastic, beautiful album, I've heard for a long time…The instrumentation is outta this world.”
