was born Feb. 4, 1981 in Ft. Camble Ky. by age 2 he then moved to Alabama, and now he resides in San Diego, CA. when Kaushion-A4 was age nine his parents spit up. Couple of months later his dad tried to commit suicide. His father "Ex Army Soldier" left him, his sister, his brother and his mother alone at the age 11 and by 13 he was selling Cocaine. At the age of 13 is when he caught his first case; by 14 he caught another case for crack cocaine. His mom's boyfriend son was the local king pin, they were moving 3-4 kilos a week at the tender age 13-16 after his 3rd time getting arrested he realized this wasn't his hustle, and found a new one. He started hanging with his city most affluent people. He then went to college, but after a year and a half there; he left to join the Navy. Kaushion-A4 is a one of a kind type of character. He's laid-back, humble, smart, wity, funny, a hustler, a salesman, rapper, producer, and your favorite guy next door. Where's he's from he was considered to be the underdog, He has overcame many obstacle in his life, from being shot at, selling drugs, his dad trying to commit suicide, dropping out of high school Kaushion-A4 was headed for prison or dead. He proved all them wrong by age 20, now He lives in San Diego California. His Energetic beats, and Witty Rhymes and Clever choruses are just what the Hip-Hop industry needs. He's done collaboration with numerous local artists in various states ranging from East Coast, Down South, and the West Coast. He has over 8500 plays on www.myspace.com/matchstik.
