Into The Fray
Into The Fray Bio:

"Mecurial dissonance fed by the fires of raw passion through the psyche unexplained. The romantic pianist possessed by sine, triangle and sawtooth. Vice Versa. The fusion of organic elements with electronics. Forged by the hammer of improvisation"

Self-Disciplined. Without formal training. Into The Fray. This is Josh Kreydatus, composer and pianist. Josh, or as he prefers, Kreydatus - currently resides in Cambridge, MA where he works a part-time job in a record store, and full-time in his own world of music and hysterics. The pulse and the composer, Josh began his studies at the piano at the age of 16, and developing the craft of composition as quickly as he began tutoring himself. Improvisation at the piano has quickly became a staple in Josh's style, and is the prime forte of his nature. For nearly 8 years now, Josh has performed for various high school functions, showcasing his original compositions for piano and also his role as a piano accompanist for Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". On the date of January 24, 2003, Josh performed a self-promoted show at the Willard Memorial Chapel, in Auburn NY - featuring the material of "Into The Fray" - his solo persona. Shortly thereafter, Josh relocated to Boston, MA with the aspirations of taking the city 'by the horns'. Not only has he formed close partnerships with a select few artists in the city of Boston, Josh's name has already been spread throughout much of the north east, as well as his debut album, P I A N O L O G Y (December 08, 2004). Aside from a plethora of scores composed predominantly for piano and orchestra, Josh is also an avid electronica artist. He has scored numerous orchestral-fused electronica pieces which has earned him the reputation as one of the most versatile composers in the underground of Boston. Josh cites that romantic and classical composers, such as Beethoven and Chopin are of prominent influence on his style but definitely not limited to. Of the obscure origin, ambiguous artists, notably the norweigan electronic entity, Ulver are among the many acts he admires for their genius in intellectual and introspective design. As a collaborative artist, Josh works with another composer, Ben Cantill, and together they produce improvisational electronic soundscapes. Experimenting with the styles of IDM, Ambient, Glitch, Drum + Bass, Orchestra & Piano, their exhibitions are powerful and dynamic, for everything is improvised, sampled, recycled, and manipulated - layers upon layers building into explosions of euphoria, followed by the calm. Without boundries, he embraces the musical spectrum as a whole. An inventor, Josh creates an alchemy of his own, fusing organic with the electronically orgasmic. With as many collaborations and projects currently being juggled, Josh is currently in the market for a position in the media arts - sound design and composition for video game companies.

Final Judgement was concieved during the the wintry and frigid month January 2005 - and was given birth February 2005. What is "Final Judgement" you ask? This is my latest opus that I am offering to the public displaying my compositional abilities as an aspiring RPG composer. Yes this is part of my portfolio and I have worked passionatly on this piece - meticulously editing and developing sweeping passages that have been haunting me for nearly 4 months prior. Well I hope everyone enjoys this piece - I sure have enjoyed composing it!
