Innocence or Otherwise plays dark & groovy, alternative rock with emotionally charged harmonies and elements of post-hardcore aggression.

With an explosive live performance and catchy grooves, this four piece based in Norwich, Norfolk deliver powerful hooks and punchy three layer vocals with moments of beautifully crafted guitar work against a strong, driving rhythm section.

The bands ability to experiment with elements ranging from disco to male voice choir (highlighted in tracks such as 'Toxic Shock Syndrome' and 'My Favourite Abba Song') is a testament to their range of musical influences and adds an exciting and challenging edge to their unique sound.

Whilst always trying to differ from the mundane by making clever use of changes in structure, Innocence or Otherwise have a passion for melody. This is the basis for their dramatic choruses and vocal onslaughts, which are cleverly contrasted by agonised screams and off-kilter time changes.
