Bruno Costa Bio:
My name is Bruno Costa, and since a few days, i started composing and recording at home. Before all this, I had a band but unfortunally it didnt well. The breakout had a tremendous impact over me, and made me think about all the things that I love in life and that gave me strength to close myself at home playing guitar with a passion that I never had before.
Thats when I started to wonder if I could take the step again on music scene, completely alone. So, I decided to apply all the passion and soul in my guitar and started to record my first Demo cd called The Past as I know it. The name came due to the breakout with the past and with all that used to push me down, feelings that I had inside me and that I never used to accomplish something that I love so much.
This demo cd is not finished yet. Now it only has 5 songs as demo tracks, because Im hoping to record with featured artists more songs and on a professional recording studio where ill devote all the passion with the equipment that I need, which ones I dont have.
I classify my music as alternative because I try to embrace many styles as much as possible, so that I can feel complete with all that I like. Blues, irish music, funk, rocknroll, reggae and so on. My purpose is to someday transform this demo cd on a Lp Disk so that everyone that enjoy and always supported me at this point, can listen and appreciate all the whispers and feelings mixed in my songs. They are not singed but I think, that if you listen carefully youll hear someone behind telling you a story.
My future plans are based on finishing this demo cd and to get exposed to a huge crowd that could sing along with me someday and feel as well as I when I play my music.
Here, in Portugal is extremely hard to succeed and the support is almost none, but now I feel alive again thanks to the feedback outside Portugal, and thats were I want to go, where theres still hope and passioned people like me that enjoy what I do.
Maybe someday ill have that chance. Till then, I will continue to record more songs and keep fighting everyday giving one step at the time everyday.
