Articulo 10 Bio:

Articulo 10, formed in early 2004, are a classic rock band from the south of the UK. Playing classic covers from bands such as Guns N' Roses, AC/DC and Thin Lizzy, as well as their own material, the band aim to add a refreshing hard-edged sound to the local music scene.
The band consists of Simon Lane on lead guitar and vocals, Colin Ingram on bass, Chris Williams on guitar and Martin Holliday on drums. Simon has been playing for around 8 years and is completing his music A Level. He has a place at Brighton Institute of Modern Music to study musicianship next year. Chris also studied music technology a-level - he has been playing guitar for 5 years and is actively involved in the local music scene promoting local bands with the Rox organisation (www.the-rox.com). Martin has been playing drums for around 7 years and Colin started to play the bass around 4 years ago. The members of Articulo 10 have played in various bands together for several years. Simon and Martin were two-thirds of the Indie-Rock three-piece 'Empathy', whose triumphs included playing the Rox Music and Arts Festival at Fontwell Park in 2002. And Chris has been in many bands such as The Beefcake Project who together with Stereofish sold out the Wedgewood Rooms in 2003. The band have also played together as Taken the Day, which played punk female fronted by Zoë Fuller from the ashes of which Articulo 10 was formed.

As well as their brand of hard rock, Articulo 10 also play a classic acoustic set, for which Simon, Chris and Martin play acoustic guitar, with Colin on bass, and all assist Simon with the vocals.
The band have played many gigs including a private gig in which the band was joined by Eric Barnett who is a professional session guitarist and flew all the way from California to play with Articulo 10. He joined the band for they’re whole set of 90 minutes as well as a 10 minute version of Jimi Hendrix’s “Red House”

The bands also guest starred at one of Rox Music and Arts’s Music shows in Bognor Regis, as well appearing alongside the Mighty Uncle Blowfish in Brighton’s “Pressure Point”. Also due to reasons unforeseen events the band had to pull out of appearing at the Bognor Live and Rox Festival and also some local gigs, but have been asked to play again at all venues.

Articulo 10 has just finished recording their first EP with one original song and 5 covers.
