Bluegrass Floyd, with some folk mixed in..ala acid rock!...
Abraham's Axe is a friendship between two guys spanning three decades. They haven't always played together, but they've always bounced material back and forth. They've been in a couple of bands together over the years, and now for the first time are concentrating on recording only. Mainly, they're just getting too old to do shows. And what with hospital bills and bail money, things are tight for them.
Here's two guys making music simply because it's fun to do. They don't think about trends or marketing strategy. They don't consider their music "product". They aren't interested in money or fame, and would be doing these recordings whether anyone listened or not.
LeeOtis G. and Stantonio Bandanez write songs for the pure pleasure of doing art well, and isn't that really the reason that matters most? Having said all that, they do like to get paid.
